The Mississippi Department of Health is releasing weekly data on coronavirus infections in schools. The data provided by MSDH is broken down by county, not school district, and also includes private schools. Mississippi Today will provide this data as well as context about the rates per capita and change from week to week on this page.
To date as of Sept. 2, more than 1,200 students teachers and staff have tested positive for COVID-19 since the start of school.
